Gushing Rainbows

I know the tragedy in the Gulf is on a lot of people's minds.  I had this idea for a shirt for a week or so but wasn't sure if I should do it or not.  The real purpose is to make someone smile when they see it.  I am not the type of person that sets out to make big important statements about issues with my art.  I try to do my art and hope it has an effect on the person viewing it whether that is a smile, chuckle, grimace, or whatever else.  People add their own experience when viewing art which is why I love doing it.  Let me know what you think.

Umbrella Monster

This is another piece in my monster series for kids clothing. He came about in a brainstorming session after I decided I didn't like the other sketches I had made for monsters. This one is all set for the rainy days ahead.

5 Year Old Princess

The other day my daughter was drawing a picture at the computer desk.  When I saw it I thought it was really good so I decided to make it into a t-shirt.  I made some slight changes to it and then added the cloud and stars but I think it turned out really well.  I am very proud of her work.  Here is the original.
